The Kayhan Audio Version 6 head unit is a 9-inch replacement for every Volkswagen Amarok built between 2010 and 2022, covering both the pre-facelift and 2017-on facelift dash layouts in one unit. It brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in SatNav, Bluetooth, and a factory-style touchscreen finish to a vehicle whose genuine VW infotainment (the MIB-based Composition Media system) is known among Amarok owners for touchscreen failures that VW itself classes as non-repairable, requiring a full unit swap through a dealer. This Version 6 unit is designed to retain steering wheel controls and supports factory reverse camera integration, with Kayhan's wired reversing cameras available as an add-on for Amaroks not already fitted with one. It's built for the way Amaroks are actually used: tradie daily drivers, tow rigs, and touring setups that need reliable navigation and phone mirroring without the factory unit's ongoing reliability issues.
