Honda Civic 2000–2006 9 Inch Head Unit with Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
Got a 2000–2006 Civic? The original stereo is pretty basic by today's standards, with no Bluetooth, no maps and no phone connection. This 9 inch unit adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB+ radio and a proper touchscreen, and it's made to fit the Civic dash.
Once your phone is paired, you don't have to plug anything in again. Get in, start the car, and CarPlay or Android Auto comes up on its own. Navigation, music and podcasts all show up on the screen. Siri or Google Assistant can read out your messages, send replies and make calls for you.
It uses a capacitive touchscreen, the same type your phone has, so a light touch works. The 1024 x 600 resolution keeps maps sharp and easy to read.
DAB+ is in the box
We include the DAB antenna with every unit, so DAB+ works straight away. No extra parts needed for digital radio. Normal FM and AM radio are built in too.
Any phone can connect over Bluetooth for calls and music. Your contacts and recent calls come up on the head unit screen.
Sound and upgrades
Power comes from a built-in 4 × 20W RMS amp, which runs the factory speakers with no trouble. Planning a bigger setup later? Use the front, rear and sub pre-outs (4V) to run an amp and subwoofer. There's an EQ too, and you can save your own settings.
You can also add cameras. There's a reverse camera input and a front camera input, both AHD for a sharper picture. Older CVBS cameras work as well. Two USB ports play music and video off a stick and charge your phone.
Before you buy
Factory steering wheel controls won't work with this unit. If your Civic has audio buttons on the wheel, keep in mind you'll lose them.
